These hormones can control the body’s metabolism or the process by which our body uses energy.

But in certain conditions thyroid produces too much of these hormones in the body, which causes hyperthyroidism.

The untreated hypothyroidism can develop the thyroid storm. A thyroid storm can activate several organs and develop some serious health issues.

The patient who suffering from hyperthyroidism may experience these issues feeling hot, rapid heartbeats, sweating, and fainting.

n many cases, the right treatment can improve the thyroid storm in 24 hours. But the time resolution depends on the symptoms and person to person’s condition.

Overall the best way to cure the thyroid storm is to prevent hyperthyroidism and also consult a doctor immediately. If you feel any symptoms of thyroid storm.

The people who suffer from hyperthyroidism may be treated with radioactive iodine because it destroys the thyroid.

But women who are suffering from hypothyroidism are pregnant then it can’t be treated with radioactive iodine because it is not safe for the unborn child. In these cases, women’s thyroid would be removed by the surgery.
